Enjoyed playing billiards onsite and trying out water sports facilities. The staff were multilingual and the elevator was handy. I was within a 5-minute drive of Quayside and Sage Gateshead. The apartment had great river views.
My knees got in the way of the breakfast bar and the fan in the bathroom was a disaster.

We got great value for our money at High Quays - Properties Unique. The room was clean and well-designed, with all the facilities we needed for our family. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the bridges and the River Tyne. The staff treated us well and even surprised us with a mid-stay cleaning.
The morning meal could have been better if there was a small fold-up table next to the sofa for a full sit-down meal.

Enjoyed the onsite billiards and water sports facilities. The apartment had great river views and the staff were multilingual. Elevator was a nice touch.
The heating instructions were shorter than my patience. The TV lacked full functionality, but who needs that anyway?

The location of the property was excellent, with amazing views of the river and bridges. The apartment was well-equipped with facilities such as a washer/dryer, iron, and microwave. The cleanliness of the apartment was maintained throughout our 12-day stay, with the surprise visit from cleaners halfway through.
The instructions for the heating were too brief and the TV had limited functionality. The bathroom fan was noisy and appeared to be blocked with fluff.

The room had a private bathroom with a hairdryer, which was super convenient!
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the CD player in the apartment. It's just not my thing, but others might enjoy it.

Located near Theatre Royal, Northumbria University, and The Biscuit Factory, High Quays provided an ideal base for our family adventure. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had stunning views of the bridges and the river Tyne. The kids had a blast snorkelling and windsurfing in the surrounding area. We also appreciated the surprise visit from the cleaners, who refreshed our towels and bedding during our 12-day stay. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit to Newcastle upon Tyne.
My kids wished there was a small play area or a kid-friendly space within the apartment complex. For families with children, it would be great to have a dedicated space where they can have some fun and burn off their energy.

It was incredibly clean, and we were pleasantly surprised when cleaners came halfway through our 12-day stay to change towels and bedding. We would definitely recommend this place and will be staying again on our next visit.
